Bleeding Faith is a Denver based metal band that combines influences from American Thrash to European Melodic Death. Formed in the Fall of 1996, Bleeding Faith set out with only one goal in mind: To make music that we would actually enjoy listening to ourselves. With that in mind, they spent the better part of their first year in a garage, writing and rehearsing. It wasn't until mid '97 that the band played it's first shows with mixed results. The bands ambitious songwriting and lack of experience combined for inconsistent shows sometimes, but they perservered. In '98 they recorded their debut CD "Dawn of Oblivion" which is available free at bleedingfaith.com. They gave the CD to anyone who wanted one and started to build a respectable fanbase with their "balls-out" style of playing. They gigged heavily for the next 3 years before finally re-entering the studio to record their followup. They had almost 2 and a half albums worth of material, but narrowed it down the 8 best songs. With more experience and a more mature approach, Bleeding Faith recorded what may go down in metal lore as one of the last great "true" metal albums. Now back on the road playing regionally with renewed confidence and anger, Bleeding Faith is starting to pass other bands like they aren't even moving.
